Pupils of the Eötvös Street Primary School (this circle is narrowed than that of the players all of the Eötvös DSE) have taken part in all of the finals of Children Olympic Games without a break from the years of 1997/1998.

In the same years the boys finished in fourth place that showed their success in the long run.

In the following season (1998/1999) our pupils had a great success. In the history of the Children Olympic Games, it is very rare that the girls' & boys' team of the same school become one of the eight teams of the national final.

Between June 20-22, 1999 our boys' & girls' matches were at the same time in Tatabánya. On the one hand it was a great pleasure for us, on the other we were sad because they finished without success. The girls came in sixth & the boys finished in fifth.

In the same year in Hajdúszoboszló & Tiszavasvári at the Beach Volleyball National Children Olympic Games the boys won the gold medal.

In the next season, 1999/2000, in Budapest the boys took part in the Millenium Children Olympic Games where they were beaten with 3:2 (Kecskemét, Szeged) & they won against Kazincbarcika with 3:0. In spite of this they did not get among the four & they came in sixth.

In the summer of this year at the Beach Volleyball Children Olympic Games the boys got the silver medal & the girls finished in fifth.

In 2000/2001 the boys' team played against very strong groups (eg.: at the National Children Championship), one of them was a team from Nyíregyháza. They won for 3:2 for reaching the finals away but they were beaten for 3:1 at home. On the other hand, the girls brightened these days. They reached the national finals in their own category & came in fourth in Pécs.

In an older category the boys took part in the city & the county Children Olympics where they came in first. They were very successful at several cups & to everyone's surprise, they reached the finals among high-school students. In Kazincbarcika, fighting with all their might, they finished in sixth.

In the beach volleyball competition the boys finished in fifth place in their own category, & they came in fourth place among high schoolers.

The girls became fourth in their own age-group & it was a great surprise when they got the silver medal in the 'under 18' category.

In the 2001/2002 school year the boys' & girls' teams reached the national finals in the second category. While the girls , the boys came in third getting the first national children Olympics medal for our school.

In the 2002/2003 school year boys'  in the national finals in the third category finished in tenth place.
